College Football Survivor Pools for 2013

For those of you looking for a regular season NCAA Football pool, our College Football Survivor pools might just fit the bill. Just pick one Top 25 team to cover the spread each week. Simple right?

How Do NCAA Football Survivor Pools Work?

Here are the rules for our College Football Survivor pools:

• Each pool member chooses one of Top-25 College team each week.
• Each team can only be picked once per season.
• Picks are made against the point spread.
• If a member's pick is correct, they survive until the next week.
• An incorrect pick eliminates the player from the pool for the remainder of the season.
• The goal is to be the the last member standing at the end of the season.

The beauty of the Survivor pool format is that it is simple enough to allow almost anyone to participate in your private pool, while at the same time being challenging enough for even the biggest College Football fan.

All Picks Report

Unlike our NFL Survivor Pools, members must pick against the spread in each game. Another twist is that the teams available to be picked can change week-to-week. Member's can only choose from the nation's top college teams for the current week, as determined by the AP Top 25.

RunYourPool.com makes the process of picking a team each week safe and simple. There will be no more weeks where members mistakenly pick a team they've already used. We keep track of each member picks and prevent them from repicking a team.

We want to be able to see who everyone picked when we watch the games, but we don't want members basing their picks on other members picks. At RunYourPool.com, pool members are able to view all other pool members picks ONLY after the weekly pick deadline has passed. The weekly pick deadline is the start of the first Saturday game each week. For early games each week, members will be able to view picks once those games have begun and can no longer be picked or changed.

For viewing picks, we have designed two easy to understand reports. Our Weekly Summary Report allows members to get a summary for the current week's picks and see a summary of eliminations to date. Our All Picks Report shows a history of the pool from the first week, showing every pick made by every member in an easy-to-understand matrix. It is simple to see who is still alive and who has been eliminated.

For those unfortunate members that get eliminated early, we have implemented a "Buy-Back" feature for our College Football Survivor pools. Using this feature, Pool Administrators can reinstate members that have been eliminated from the pool in the previous week. While our site allows this feature to be used at anytime during the season, we recommend restricting Buy-Backs to the first few weeks of the season.
