Help Us and Win! New PGA Golf Pool Format
In recent surveys, one of the most popular requests we've received for new pools is for a PGA Golf pool. Being a golf junky myself, I'm completely sold!
However, we have been tossing around a few different formats for our first venture into the world of Golf pools. Overwhelmingly, our users have asked for a format that will allow them to run their pool for each of the four Majors and aggregate the results for all of them. There was very little interest in a Fantasy format that would be for each tournament of the season, which is good as we'd like to "walk before we run" here.
In order to keep it simple but still challenging, we are looking at implementing some kind of a tiered player selection, where players are grouped into tiers or flights based on their World Golf Ranking. For example, Tier 1 would have the current top 10, Tier 2 would have 11-20, etc. Your members would be required to pick a player from each tier and the members whose "team" performed best would be the winner.
Of course, the Devil's always in the details ... which is where you come in. Is performance based on cumulataive money winnings for the tournament? Is it the aggregate score relative to par? What is the size of the tiers? How many tiers are there? These are the types of questions we'd like your input on.
If you have any thoughts on the format proposed above, or if you run or participate in a PGA Golf pool that you really love, we want to hear from you! Just to give you a little added incentive, one lucky commenter will win a FREE PGA Golf pool for helping us out. Give us feedback on our direction and/or the details of your pool. The more people that weigh in, the better the offerings we can provide. NOTE: Comments are preferred as it allows for others to give their feedback on the proposed format.
Thanks in advance!

I play a lot of ftsy golf and would have to tell you that pick guys from tiers is one of the dumbest fantasy golf games. Salary caps where you can pick players that have a salary and fit within a certain limit are much more enjoyable. It sounds like you already picked a format, but that is my two cents. Best wishes with your product, Curtis.
