Football season is the best time of the year. It means it’s time to start thinking about your pick’em pool.

Virginia Tech (-7.5) @ Old Dominion

What better way to kick off the season than with a game between two rival powerhouse teams: Virginia Tech and Old Dominion? The odds are in Virginia Tech’s favor, but this could be anyone’s battle to win.

West Michigan @ Michigan State (-22.5)

Michigan State holds the advantage against West Michigan in their first football game of the season. Of course, anything can happen, so West Michigan shouldn’t get too discouraged. Who knows? Maybe they’ll pull off the upset and come out victorious. Stranger things have happened.

    Temple @ Duke (-6.5)

Duke fans feel confident this Friday as their team goes up against Temple University. The odds are definitely in Duke’s favor– they’ve got a strong coaching staff, experienced players, and distinctive home-field advantage.

East Kentucky @ East Michigan (-13.5)

East Michigan is looking pretty good this Friday as they face off against East Kentucky in their first game of the season. The odds look to be in their favor, and their fans feel confident about their chances.

    Illinois @ Indiana (-2.5)

The oddsmakers have spoken, favoring Indiana in Friday’s game against Indiana. On paper, it looks like a pretty even matchup – both teams are coming off of disappointing seasons and are eager to prove themselves, but Indiana still has the edge.

    TCU (-13.5) @ Colorado

As the old saying goes, “The best offense is a good defense.” And that will undoubtedly be the case for TCU when they take on Colorado this Friday. The Horned Frogs are poised for success this weekend, with QB Max Duggan leading the charge.
