Since the middle of the 2018 season, Lamar Jackson has been the main man receiving snaps in Baltimore. In that time, the quarterback has racked up more than 12,000 passing yards, 101 passing touchdowns, better than 4,400 rushing yards, two Pro Bowl distinctions, and the 2019 NFL MVP award. That success in the real world has made Jackson a valuable player in the fantasy sphere, too. In 2019<\/a>, he was the highest-scoring player in the league in standard scoring, let alone at his position, blowing second-place Christian McCaffrey out of the water by about 66 points. You have to weigh the pros and cons before deciding if he\u2019s worth the draft pick.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Ravens offense should undergo a makeover in 2023. The team let go of long-time offensive coordinator Greg Roman, who notoriously preferred the ground game to an aerial attack. Todd Monken is the man responsible for the offense now, and his track record<\/a> with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, and Georgia Bulldogs indicates his willingness to throw. Monken\u2019s instruction could help<\/a> Jackson improve his own passing skills, plus the quarterback has shown that he can get it done with his arm \u2013 his 3,127 passing yards, 66.1 completion percentage, and 36 tossing touchdowns in 2019 are proof of that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jackson\u2019s front office gave him some new toys this offseason, too. The Ravens have signed several new wide receivers, with Odell Beckham Jr. and Nelson Agholor the biggest veteran names to join Baltimore. The team also drafted Boston College\u2019s Zay Flowers with the No. 22 overall pick in the draft this spring, a further sign of its emphasis on an improved class of pass catchers for 2023. The Ravens have been known for their poor receiving core for a while now.
