Mostly, Sean McVay is an agent of chaos who may or may not know exactly when the hook is in play.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sorry Niners players. No, we still don\u2019t know what that meaningless field goal was all about. But having taken Los Angeles +7.5 in multiple pools, we\u2019re just going to kind of roll with it.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lucky for anyone who did use L.A., the Rams may have let you get a little separation on the field. Just 36.7 percent of players used Los Angeles against the Niners. Let\u2019s see how the popular selections for the week did.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">This Week in Pick\u2019em Pools<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The top five teams taken across all RunYourPool pick\u2019em contests were:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Saints -2.5 (Taken by 77.9% of players). Covered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chiefs -2.5 (74%). Covered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Buccaneers -2.5 (67.6%). Covered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lions -9.5 (65.5%). Lost outright.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Browns -1.5 (63.8%). Lost outright.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh3.googleusercontent.com\/a0OrCKEyB34EsWY0lFvx7upquXU8Bpb7XxbY6_XmdBCWtsDKbIcxiqyZmjUszYLXCYLoYKLoSGgN8hFZL3aracMhR7HbIbkd5pXLogfP_Gk-3lFG22q-4sAFbSv3N4imyuy-0LXoqdoLn72cB0__Dgo\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now let\u2019s look at who was rocking the edges that were showing up in Unabated\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/unabated.com\/nfl\/pick-em?utm_source=newsletter&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=RYP\">NFL Pick\u2019em Edge Tool<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Falcons +1.5 (47.2%). Went off as the favorite and won outright.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vikings +7.5 (48.5%). Lost, but covered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Titans +3.5 (43.8%). Won outright.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saints -2.5 (77.9%). Covered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chiefs -2.5 (74%). Covered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you followed the edges, you went 5-0. The edges are derived by the contest line versus the Unabated Line \u2013 our vig-free consensus line made up of some of the sharpest NFL sportsbooks in the world.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The more the contest line differs from the Unabated Line, the more of an edge there is on the play. When you see a contest line like the Falcons at +1.5 up against an Unabated Line of -2.5, you can infer that sharp money has caused the market-making books to move their line, meaning the respected NFL bettors are on Atlanta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Next Week in Survivor Pools<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bills and Giants were wildly popular picks in survivor pools this week. The Raiders came in and scored a tuddie to put the Bills in a 7-0 hole, at which point Buffalo went full Hulk mode and administered a whuppin\u2019 that kept scores of people alive to fight in Week 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Giants looked like a lost cause after playing three consecutive halves of lousy football, but all of a sudden remembered they were playing the Cardinals and went on to score on five straight possessions in the second half while also getting five straight stops.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So now what? Leaning on ESPN\u2019s Football Power Index projections and playing for future value, but chalky picks, the Optimizer landed us on Jacksonville in Week 3.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Playing against Houston and Arizona is going to be a well-worn path in survivor pools this year. Those teams won\u2019t combine to go 0-fer (maybe).
