Line: Auburn -3.5

Summary

Auburn has to be completely exhausted after this season. Bo Nix breaking his ankle. A heart-breaker of an Iron Bowl... T.J. Finley has been a solid replacement and could do more than enough to keep Auburn in this game, but Dana Holgorsen's Houston team isn't going to roll over and die either.

Houston has a top-20 scoring offense in the nation, but much of that production came against unproven opponents. The defensive side of the ball tells the same story, dominating inferior opponents, but the Cougars got mauled on the ground by Texas Tech and Cincinnati.

Luckily for Auburn, they have one of the best running backs in the nation ready to torch Houston's run defense, which should be the difference in this game.

Our Pick

Auburn runs all over Houston.

+3.5 is a respectable line for the Cougars, but they just haven't played up to their competition. We think Auburn is going to bring a different level of talent that Houston rarely sees, and Auburn should comfortably cover.

The Score: Auburn wins and covers, 28-21.
