The NCAA basketball tournament takes place over three weeks, starting with the first rounds of 64 and 32 on March 17 through March 20. The rounds of 16 teams — known as the Sweet 16 — move on to the Elite 8 the next weekend, followed by the Final Four on the weekend after that, culminating with the Championship on April 4.
