Personal information, such as your name and email address is collected only when you voluntarily provide it when creating or joining a pool. Unlike many sites, we collect as little personal information possible, just that information required to provide our services.
The personal information you provide is accessible only to your pool commissioner, and to site administrators (staff at RunYourPool.com). Your name may be made visible to other members of your private pool by your pool commissioner. Your email address may, on rare occasion, be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your account (e.g. password recovery, important notifications related to your pool, etc).
Except as provided below, personal information will not be shared with any third parties, nor will
such information be added to bulk email lists. We may share your personal information with the
Service providers. Companies and individuals that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the
Service or our business (such as hosting, information technology, payment processors, customer
support, email delivery, and website analytics services).
Third-party advertising partners. Advertising companies for interest-based advertising and other
marketing purposes, including those third parties’ own purposes.
Professional advisors. Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, bankers and insurers, where
necessary in the course of the professional services that they render to us.
Authorities and others. Law enforcement, government authorities, and private parties, as we believe in
good faith to be necessary or appropriate for the Compliance and protection purposes described above.
Business transferees. Acquirers and other relevant participants in business transactions (or negotiations
