What is Selection Sunday?
Selection Sunday is the day a selection committee of experts determines the 68 teams that will play in the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament. The committee also determines the seeding — or ranking — of each team on this day. This year, Selection Sunday will take place on Sunday, March 17.
