Accounts, Memberships, and Entries

This page should help clarify the different terminology used to describe the account structure on the website. Please use the images below as reference.

Account—Your account is the top level of the membership structure. When you login with your username and password, you are logging into your Account. You should never need to have more than one account on RunYourPool.com.

Memberships—When you create or join a specific pool, you are creating a Pool Membership. You can have as many Pool Memberships on your Account as you'd like and can always view your memberships by going to My Pool Memberships. In the example below, the user has two pool memberships (one for football and one for basketball).

Entries—Once you have a pool membership, you can create more than one entry in that pool. Think of an entry like a raffle entry, where one entry gives you one chance to win. For Pro Football, a person can pick all games each week (and for every week of the season) under one entry, where their score for that entry is tallied and shown as a single row in the pool standings.
