Larry Croom
Larry Croom was an NFL player who had a very successful career. He not only played in high school, college, and the NFL… he also played in the German Football League. After he retired from football, Larry became a successful educator and now owns several companies. He is also an active philanthropist. Larry Croom is a very accomplished man who appears to be an inspiration to everyone who knows him.
Samie Parker
Samie Parker was an NFL player for the Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, Carolina Panthers, Seattle Seahawks, and the Oakland Raiders. He was born in Long Beach, California, on March 25, 1981. Parker played college football in Oregon. In 2004 he was drafted in the fourth round of the NFL draft and began his first season with the Kansas City Chiefs.
After his playing career ended, Parker worked as a coach at MidAmerica Nazarene University, Fort Valley State University, and then back to his origins at Long Beach Poly High School.
Manuel Wright
Manuel Wright is a professional football player who has played for several National Football League (NFL) teams. In his high school career, Manuel earned many local and national honors as a football team member at Long Beach Polytechnic High School. The Miami Dolphins drafted him in the fifth round of the 2006 NFL Draft.
He has also played for the Buffalo Bills and the New York Giants. Wright is currently a free agent. In addition to his playing career, Wright is currently coaching at his son’s high school.
Darnell Bing
Darnell Bing is a former NFL player drafted by the Oakland Raiders in 2006. He played college football at USC and was awarded the Jim Thorpe Award finalist as the nation’s best collegiate football defensive back and the All-American in 2005. Bing had a successful rookie season with the Raiders, but the team released him after just one season. Bing then spent time with several other NFL teams but never regained his starting job. He retired from football in 2010. Since retiring, Bing has worked as a coach and scout. He also runs a foundation that provides support to young athletes.
Winston Justice
Winston Justice is a former American football offensive tackle who began his career with the Long Beach Poly High School football team. The Philadelphia Eagles drafted him in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft. He has also played for the Indianapolis Colts and the Denver Broncos.
Justice was born in Long Beach, California. He played college football at USC, where he was a two-time All-American. Injuries throughout his career have plagued him. In 2009, he was traded to the Colts, where he started four games. He was released by the Colts in 2013 and signed with the Chargers. The Chargers released him after one season. Justice has not played in an NFL game since 2013.
Marcedes Lewis
Marcedes Lewis is a professional football player who has spent his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Green Bay Packers. A native of Long Beach, California, Lewis attended the University of UCLA, where he was a standout tight end. He was drafted by the Jaguars in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft and became one of the team’s most reliable players. The Green Bay Packers signed Lewis to a one-year, $2.1 million contract with a $500,000 signing bonus in 2018.
Pago Togafau
Pago Togafau is an NFL player who has played for several teams, including the Arizona Cardinals, the Philadelphia Eagles, the New Orleans Saints, and the Tennessee Titans, over his career. He was born in Long Beach, CA, and played college football at Idaho State.
Togafau is a versatile player who has played both linebacker and defensive end. He is known for his strength and athleticism. In 2016, he won the NFL’s Strength and Conditioning Award. Togafau is a dedicated player who has overcome many obstacles in his career.
DeSean Jackson
NFL player DeSean Jackson is known for his speed and agility on the field. The Eagles drafted him in the second round of the 2008 NFL Draft after playing college football at the University of California, Berkeley. He has also played for the Washington Redskins before returning to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2019 and moving to the Los Angeles Rams and the Las Vegas Raiders. Jackson’s dedication to his craft has helped him become one of the best wide receivers in the NFL. It’s also one of the reasons why he’s a role model for young athletes everywhere.
Jurrell Casey
Jurrell Casey is an NFL defensive end who was drafted for the Tennessee Titans in 2011. He was drafted in the third round of the 2011 NFL Draft out of the University of Southern California. He continued playing for them for the next eight years before moving to the Denver Broncos in 2020. He is known for his strength, power, and ability to create pressure on opposing quarterbacks. In 2018, Casey signed a four-year, $60 million extension with the Titans, making him one of the highest-paid defensive players in the NFL.
