Hail to the Victors? Will Michigan's magical season continue? Going into the season unranked after a COVID-plagued, horrible 2020 season, the Wolverines surprised everyone as they started unranked and finished with a 12-1 record with victories over Ohio State and then Iowa to win the Big 10 Championship.
Michigan is led by its elite defensive linemen, Heisman finalist Aidan Hutchinson and David Ojabo as well as its two-headed running attack in Hassan Haskins and Blake Corum. Their opponent is the SEC juggernaut Georgia Bulldogs, 12-1 as well, who are led by an elite defense as well with Jordan Davis at the helm. Additionally, after getting throttled by Alabama in the SEC Championship, the Bulldogs may be facing a quarterback controversy as Stetson Bennett IV has had a good, but not elite year and struggled mightily against Alabama.
Michigan not only covers +7.5, but wins outright. Georgia looked very beatable against the Crimson Tide and Michigan's incredible defense and rushing attack will upset the Bulldogs on New Years' Eve.
Say you saw it here first, folks!
The Score: Michigan, 24-17
